The Winter of 2011 should be known as the winter where I broke my normal routine - the act of fleeing the cold and short days in favor of warmth and long days. Days that are spent either on a beach or in an unfamiliar city, eating street food and taking loads of photographs on film with my trusty Canon A1.
This is the winter where I’m doing the unthinkable: I’m staying put in the Bay Area, through Christmas and through my birthday, also known as New Year’s Eve. Despite the crazy cold weather, the promise of rain, and the onset of night so early in the day…I’m looking forward to spending this holiday season at home with loved ones.
